Every Sunday, when I make my trip to the farmers market, I will grab a bunch of radishes from now on. Why? Because they're amazing that's why. They are packed with vitamin c, fiber, and more than a handful of other vitamins like B vitamins and iron. I need those. We need those! Plus they're good. I had no idea. They seem to get a bad rap but they are now on my list of things I was afraid to try and found out I loved. They're beside sweet potatoes and Greek yogurt.
I will be eating them raw and finding as many ways possible to cook with them this spring. They're an antioxidant and they're believed to fight off cancer causing cells. I'm just a little excited I just discovered this veggie.
